My Neighbor Totoro is an animated film from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki. It's quirky and interesting. I haven't seen it in a long time, but the gist of it is that a little girl moves to a new house which is inhabited by nature spirits that only she and a few other children can see. They play with her, occasionally frighten her, and teach her the ways of the growing things. One infamous scene is the girl and her brother at a bus stop, when they first see Totoro (the grinning guy in my above post) standing there as well. It is raining, and the large, cat/rabbit-like spirit is sheltering from the rain beneath a leaf. Nerd ramble over.
